A further 531 coronavirus cases and one death has been recorded over the past 24 hours in Palestine, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Friday.
The death that was announced on Thursday, was a 72-year-old woman from Hebron.
A total of 2,708 random tests were conducted across different governorates.
A total of 260 patients have recovered including 64 in Jerusalem, 170 in Hebron, 12 in Nablus, and 14 in Jenin.
The new coronavirus cases were recorded across 11 governorates: 168 in Hebron, 11 in Nablus, four in Jericho and al-Aghwar, 25 in Bethlehem, 44 in Qalqilya, one in Jenin, 34 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, four in Salfit, one in Tubas , one in Gaza strip and 188 in Jerusalem.
Currently, 20 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and five are on ventilators.
The recovery rate stands at 60.7%, while the active cases rate is 38.7%, and the death rate is 0.6%, al-Kailah added.
