Gold prices on the rise again in Jordan

The prices of buying and selling gold in Jordan rose again on Thursday, and increased by JD 0.70 per gram after two consecutive days of decline both domestically and globally.

The selling price for the 21-carat gold – the most popular carat among locals – has reached JD 38.70 per gram, compared to JD 38 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the purchase price reached JD 37.10, up from JD 36.40 on Wednesday.

The selling price for 24-carat gold has reached JD 46.20 and the 18-carat gold reached JD 34.40.

As for the purchase price for 24-carat gold, it has reached JD 42.80 and the 18-carat gold reached JD 31.70.

There are approximately 850 jewellers across Jordan with a capital of at least JD 5 billion.
