Curfew hours have been increased to start at 12am for citizens and 11pm for restaurants, starting from Saturday.

The Public Security Directorate has also redeployed patrols in front of important facilities to ensure people entering the venues are wearing face masks.

The PSD will begin monitoring restaurants’ compliance to COVID-19 containment measures.

The deployment plan was announced on Tuesday, in a bid to prevent a deterioration of the coronavirus situation in Jordan.

The PSD will also be ensuring citizens abide by the curfew hours.
