A Lebanese man has kidnapped his ex-fiancée in front of her house in the Lebanese city of Aley, according to the Lebanese General Directorate of Security Forces.

The police circulated a photo of the kidnapped young woman who is Lebanese and aged in her late twenties.

The man, who is aged in his late thirties, kidnapped the woman and threw her into an unknown car, fired gunshots into the air and then drove away to an unknown destination.

A search for the kidnapper is underway.
