The local cases include six cases in Irbid, four cases in Amman, one case in Ma’an, one case in Jerash and two cases at the Jaber border crossing.

One positive case was infected by another person who did not adhere to home quarantine.

Seventy-three people were arrested for trying to escape isolation areas.

The Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, said people were caught administering rubbing alcohol up their noses to manipulate PCR tests.

Most new coronavirus cases in Jordan have been caught at the Jaber Border Crossing, said Jaber.

We do not lie about any local cases and we do not publish the names of people of people who tested positive for coronavirus, he added.
