The Jordanian military field hospital has begun treating people injured in the Beirut blast.

“The medical crews, upon their arrival, began preparing the medical facilities, devices and equipment to provide the best medical treatment to the wounded individuals,” said the hospital director, on Monday.

The hospital, which is equipped with all the required medical staff to perform minor and major operations includes 58 beds – 10 of which are Intensive Care Unit beds – along with two operating rooms which are maintained by specialised medical, nursing, pharmaceutical, technical and administrative staff.
