The home of a 60-year-old woman who tested positive for COVID-19 has been isolated and 450 tests have been conducted on people in Irbid who may have been in contact with the four new local cases in the city announced over the weekend, said Irbid’s Health Director, Riyad al-Sheyyab.

Health investigation teams are identifying people to test who came into contact with the woman's husband as a precautionary measure, as he works as a barber.

The woman suffers from several diseases, and is undergoing treatment in the isolation department at Prince Hamzah Hospital in Amman, added al-Sheyyab.
