A Jordanian MP has suggested a second lockdown could soon be implemented across the Kingdom, after three local coronavirus cases were recorded on Friday.

Tariq Khoury tweeted that he expected the sound of sirens to be heard throughout Jordan again.

Posting an image of sirens, he wrote: “We see it far away, but it looks like it will return soon.”

A lawyer, his sister and her daughter all tested positive for COVID-19 in Irbid on Friday.
