Former Foreign Minister, Nasser Judeh, called on the Jordanian government to establish a crisis unit to address the danger caused by deadly accidents on the Desert Highway, criticising the behavior of drivers on the road.
“Four new deaths today on the Desert Highway. We need a crisis unit, believe me. The issue is not just the road, but everything, especially drivers behaviour,” Judeh wrote on Twitter, on Monday.
Judeh had Tweeted earlier: "We succeed in managing a global epidemic crisis and were able to be one of the best countries dealing with it, but we are unable to stop the danger of the Desert Highway from claiming the lives of our sons and daughters due to repeated catastrophic incidents."
At the end of his tweet, he said: "Until when?"
