One death and 225 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced a further 225 coronavirus cases and one death had been recorded over 24 hours, on Sunday.

The latest death involves a 58-year-old woman from Qalandiya, said the ministry in its daily report.

In the last 24 hours, 88 new cases were recorded in Jerusalem; 28 in Hebron, 49 in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, two in Tulkarem, three in Bethlehem, one in Jenin, 14 in Nablus, 20 in Jericho and five in Qalqilya.

A total of 66 patients have recovered; 33 in Hebron, 23 in Bethlehem, four in Jenin and six in Tulkarem.

Currently, seven cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and two are on ventilators.
