Four new COVID-19 cases, all from abroad

Four new coronavirus cases were recorded in Jordan on Sunday.

According to the statement, today’s new infections appear as follows:

  • Three cases involve Jordanians returning from abroad who are currently in quarantine hotels; two have arrived from Saudi Arabia and one from Iraq.
  • A Jordanian truck driver who arrived via the Al-Omari border from Saudi Arabia.

The total number of cases in Jordan is now 1,218 since the start of the crisis.

Two recovered COVID-19 patients at Prince Hamzah Hospital were confirmed on Sunday.

The Ministry of Health reiterated the need to adhere to preventive measures and use Aman and Sehtak applications.
