Jordan’s airports will not reopen before August 1 due to the one local case recorded on Tuesday, said the Minister of State for Media Affairs, Amjad Adaileh.

Jordan remains at a moderate risk level, which means there will not be any easing of current restrictions, and the midnight curfew will remain in place, the minister said.

The government is in the process of establishing a list of no more than 10 countries which repatriated Jordanians will be able to return from without having to quarantine, Adaileh added.
