A decomposing body of a Bangladeshi domestic worker was found inside a ferry in southern Shouneh, near the Dead Sea, Petra, on Wednesday night.

The body was transferred to the Forensic Medicine Department at Al Hussein Hospital in Salt to determine the cause of death.

The Criminal Investigation Department inspected the ferry and took samples from the crime scene.
