The Amman Summer Festival will not take place this year, the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) announced on Friday.

The decision has been made to protect citizen’s health and safety amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The festival is an annual event organised by the GAM, which hosts bands, theatre performances, cultural and artistic activities, and markets with crafts and food.
