Jordan confirms 11 new COVID-19 cases, including a local case
Jordan confirms 11 new COVID-19 cases, including a local case

Jordan has confirmed 11 new coronavirus cases today, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,147, according to a statement issued by the government and the Ministry of Health.

The new cases are:

- A person who contracted the virus from another in Amman. 

- 10 citizens who have recently returned from abroad, including three from Saudi Arabia, four from Iraq, two from Egypt and one from the US.

According to the statement, three recovery cases were reported today at Prince Hamzah Hospital.

A total of 7,802 random tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 408,735.

The Health Ministry urges people to adhere to wearing face masks, practicing social distancing and using the Aman.jo application to receive alerts if they were in contact with infected persons.
