A 20-year-old pharmacist in Zarqa committed suicide just hours before her wedding.

The woman used a plastic clothesline to hang herself, sources close to the investigation disclosed.

An autopsy revealed bruising over the woman’s body and confirmed the cause of death was suffocation by rope around the neck. An investigation is now underway.

The deceased’s wedding was due to take place on Wednesday but conflict between the two families may have driven her to commit suicide, the same source told Roya.
