Jordan confirms 7 new coronavirus cases, all from abroad

Jordan has confirmed seven new coronavirus cases today, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 1,111, according to a statement issued by the government and the Ministry of Health.

The new cases are:

- Three Jordanian truck drivers who were tested at the Al-Omari Border Crossing.

- Four citizens who have recently returned from abroad, including three from Saudi Arabia and one from Kuwait.

According to the statement, 11 recovery cases were reported today at Prince Hamzah Hospital.

Nearly 7,234 random tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 369,560.

The Ministry of Health reaffirms that people should use the Aman.jo application, which contributes to protecting individuals from being in contact with infected persons, and helps to detect cases early.
