A man has been arrested after trying to sell fake jewels for a million dinar in Irbid, a spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) revealed on Wednesday, June 24.

Information was received by the Preventive Security Department in north of Jordan about a person claiming to own diamonds.

The person was arrested for attempting to defraud people, and fake diamonds were seized from him. He will be transferred to the judiciary.
