A sterilization campaign has been conducted by the Deir Alla municipality on all homes in the isolated district in the southern Twal area of Deir Alla after a resident tested positive for coronavirus.

Earlier on Sunday, June 14, it had been announced that a woman working as a cleaner at Balqa Applied University nursery tested positive for coronavirus.

The infected lives in the southern Twal area in Deir Alla district and was transferred to Prince Hamzah Hospital for treatment.

As a precaution, ten mosques were closed by the Balqa Awqaf Directorate after the case was announced.
