The epidemiological inspection teams are conducting COVID-19 tests for residents of a building in the southern Marka area of Amman after a resident tested positive yesterday. 

The security services isolated the building last evening immediately after the case was confirmed.

The Amman Governor, Saad Shihab, told Roya that the building was isolated following directives by the National Committee for Epidemics and the Ministry of Health.

An informed source said that the infected is a dentist and the concerned bodies are checking on how he contracted the virus.

The same source confirmed that the infected has recently tested positive after he felt sick and went to Al-Bashir Hospital to get a health checkup.
