The Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, issued a decree extending the state of emergency for 30 more days starting June 4 amidst the coronavirus outbreak in the occupied territories.

This is the fourth month for the state of emergency in the West Bank since the outbreak of corona in early March.

The Palestinian territories have reopened last week after more than two months of lockdown over coronavirus in light of sharp drop in positive cases.
