No new coronavirus cases were recorded in Jordan today, the government has announced in a statement

"However, six truck drivers were found infected with the virus at the Jordanian borders so that the total number of cases rises to 459, the government explained, adding that three of the drivers are Jordanians while the rest are Arab nationals.

Two recovery cases were reported today, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 367.

78, 885 random COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the Kingdom since the beginning of the crisis according to the statement.

The specialized scientific committees at the Ministry of Health and the National Committee for Epidemics follow up on reliable international scientific reports on the efficacy of the "remediffer" drug on those infected with the virus.

The statement added that the various governorates of the Kingdom have witnessed an excellent general commitment to the comprehensive curfew measures today.

"The 24-hour comprehensive curfew ends at midnight and the previous procedures will be applied as of tomorrow, May 2, in terms of the curfew hours and the sectors authorized to resume their work. Vehicles allowed to be used tomorrow are those whose license plate ends with an even digit," the statement indicated.
