His Majesty King Abdullah II congratulated all Jordanian workers on Labor Day, which is observed on the first of May each year.

"I am proud of the working sons and daughters of the country. God bless the arms that build with sincerity and progress infinitely in factories, fields, labs and institutions,"  His Majesty said in a tweet on his Twitter official account.

"The homeland is proud of you, as you leave your homes and stay away from your families for the sake of our Jordan. Happy Labor Day," the King added.
