His Majesty King Abdullah II and German Chancellor Angela Merkel affirmed on Tuesday, April 28, the need to unify bilateral and international efforts to stop the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

In a phone call, King Abdullah and Chancellor Merkel stressed the importance of maintaining efforts to counter the humanitarian and economic ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic.

His Majesty also noted the strong ties between Jordan and Germany, and keenness to bolster cooperation across all sectors.
