The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has announced today that a Jordanian nurse, infected with the COVID-19, died in the UAE.

In a press statement, the Ministry’s spokesman, Dhaifallah Fayez, said the nurse, who is working in an Emirati hospital, was infected with the virus last week, as her health condition was stable at the beginning, then her health condition deteriorated.

The general consulate in the UAE followed up with the UAE authorities, notified the nurse's family, and then the deceased was buried in the GCC nation, he pointed out.
