Energy Minister: All gas stations in the Kingdom allowed to reopen

The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Engineer Hala Zawati, has announced today that all gas stations in the Kingdom are allowed to reopen, within the framework of the government measures aimed at restoring economic activity following the curfew imposed in the Kingdom to curb the spread of coronavirus.

In a statement issued this morning, Zawati stated that workers should adhere to the public safety and health procedures imposed due to the coronavirus crisis in order to protect the health of citizens.

Earlier on March 18, a total of 45 gas stations were allowed to operate, as a way to reopen all stations across the Kingdom.

Since the beginning of the crisis, the Ministry exempted home-cooking gas cylinder filling stations, warehouses, agencies and distribution vehicles from the curfew imposed in various regions of the Kingdom.
