1,880 restaurants met conditions of delivery platform

A total of 2,347 restaurants have applied via the (delivery.mota.jo) platform to provide food service during the curfew, 1,880 of which have met the conditions stipulated in the platform, the Tourism Ministry announced on Monday, April 20.

The Ministry's Secretary-General, Imad Hijazin said that all restaurants that have met the conditions were subjected to inspection by the committee formed by the ministries of tourism, health and labor and the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (FDA), to validate the information that was submitted on the platform.

He added that the restaurants that applied according to their relevant entity were distributed as follows: Tourism Ministry: 444 restaurants, 257 of which have met the conditions, the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM): 1,143 restaurants, 978 of which have met the conditions, municipalities: 760 restaurants, 645 of which have met the conditions.
