Director of the Social Security Corporation (SSC) Hazem Rahahleh has announced this evening the "Tadamon" program, whereby every person who was left jobless due to the coronavirus lockdown would be provided with a salary.

During a press briefing at the Prime Ministry building, Rahahleh said that "Tadamon 1" program targets institutions covered by social security and includes Jordanians, Gazans and children of Jordanian women, where every person affected by the lockdown will be guaranteed a salary of a minimum of JD165 and a maximum of JD500.

However, "Tadamon 2" program targets establishments that are not covered by social security, where people who were left jobless due to the lockdown will be guaranteed a salary of JD150.

Rahahleh also announced the "Mosaned" program that allows obtaining advances and allows social security subscribers to obtain the salaries, noting that the SCC will start receiving applications starting next Tuesday.
