Police officers arrested 10 people who joined a gathering, violating the imposed lockdown under the Defence law order in the Ramtha, Irbid.

In a statement issued today, spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said following an investigation into the illegal gathering, ten individuals involved were identified and apprehended at a reform and rehabilitation center.

Police are still working on determining the identities of others involved to take the appropriate measures against them, for violating the law and endangering the health and safety of citizens, it added.
