As of April 13, the Philippines has a recorded 4,932 COVID-19 cases and a total of 315 coronavirus-related deaths. 

The country has also confirmed 242 recovery cases so far.

The total number of active cases in the Philippines until April 13, is 4,375, with one critical case.

On January 30, 2020, the Philippine Department of Health reported the first case of COVID-19 in the country with a 38-year-old female Chinese national, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).

On March 7, the first local transmission of COVID-19 was confirmed. WHO said it is working closely with the Department of Health in responding to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.
