The Judicial Council has donated JD100,000 to support the Ministry of Health's efforts to combat the spread of coronavirus.

A statement issued by the Council read "the donation comes in light of the government's initiative to open a "charitable" account in the Ministry of Social Development yesterday and it aims at supporting the national efforts made within the framework of social solidarity."

"The Judicial Council decided to donate an additional JD100,000 from the salaries of working and retired judges and the amount will be transferred to the "charitable" account," the statement added.
