Amman's Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh has announced today that bread will be delivered to citizens via buses operating through the "Amman Bus" project.

"65 buses of the Integrated Transport Company were also allocated to distribute bread to citizens in all areas of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM)," Shawarbeh said.

"Each bread package will be worth JD1," Shawarbeh said, confirming that GAM will be providing people with this service as of tomorrow.

Shawarbeh stressed that the buses are sterilized and those who will be providing the service will be committed to safety requirements to preserve the health of citizens.
