A woman arriving from Saudi Arabia to Jordan has tested negative for coronavirus, the Ministry of Health announced on Friday evening, February 28.

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Ministry, Dr. Adnan Ishaq had earlier said that a woman arrived from Saudi Arabia to the Kingdom with influenza symptoms.

As a precautionary measure, the woman was taken to Prince Hussein Hospital in Baqa'a, Balqa to undergo medical examinations.

The total number of people quarantined in Jordan is 15, Ishaq mentioned, adding that all of them arrived from countries with coronavirus cases.

Thankfully, he confirmed that no corona cases were registered in the Kingdom.
