Minister of Health, Saad Jaber has checked on the Epidemic Diseases Center (Isolation Center) of Al -Bashir Hospital and the readiness of health services provided by specialized medical staff for the patients quarantined at the center.

Jaber was briefed by Head of Al-Bashir Hospital, Dr. Mahmoud Zureiqat, on medical services and supplies provided to patients quarantined in the isolation rooms at the center.

The Minister stressed the need to provide all amenities for quarantined patients, medical procedures provided and accurate laboratory tests carried out by the specialized medical staff to the moment.

Jaber listened to those quarantined in the isolation rooms about the medical procedures and the services they receive in the hospital since the moment they were listed in.

The Ministry of Health is following the standard quarantine procedures for patients that are suspected of being infected with the disease, as well as for those coming from places where the virus has been reported, he said, pointing out that all patients should be placed for 14 days in quarantine before they are discharged.
