Commenting on the video that was recently broadcast during Roya's "Nabd Al Balad" program, MP, Ibrahim Al Bdour said that the violations against patients with mental health issues are not acceptable and against all human rights agreements.

He said, "Everyone is shocked by the video. The concerned committee at the National Center for Human Rights will carry out a survey and investigation into the scenes and if they were verified, we will demand to hold accountable all those found involved in the filming.

He added that mental illness is a disease like any other disease, and those who have a mental illness should be given intensive care.

The Ministry of Health also called for improving the status of the mental health centers in the Kingdom in terms of construction, providing trained medical personnel and intensifying supervision over them.
