Cadres of the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) removed Al-Rabieh circle in Amman today in order to install traffic lights.

The decision to remove the circle was taken following coordination between GAM and the Central Traffic Department (CTD) after several studies were conducted in the area.

Earlier in 2019, GAM replaced the 5th and the 6th circles in Amman with traffic lights to deal with the traffic density and to alleviate traffic congestion.
