Three people were crushed to death and one person was injured when the dilapidated wall of a secondary school collapsed on them in Al-Kourah District of Irbid, spokesman for the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD), Iyad Al Amro said.

He explained that four workers of Arab nationalities were carrying out maintenance work at the Kafar Rakeb secondary school when the wall came down on them.

Rescue personnel worked to recover the bodies from under the rubble using special rescue equipment, while the ambulance teams provided the necessary first aid to the injured and took him and the deceased to Princess Raya Government Hospital.

The injured was listed in moderate health condition.
