According to weather updates, a new air mass will hit the Kingdom in the next few hours, with snowfall expected in the high areas in the south of Jordan.

This afternoon, heavy rainfall is expected, particularly in Amman, Balqa, Madaba and Karak, according to Arabia Weather.

Tonight, heavy rainfall that may be accompanied by heavy hail is in the forecast in Amman. However, the high areas of the capital are expected to witness rain mixed with snow.

The weather depression that is affecting the Kingdom is expected to deepen on the dawn of Friday, January 10, in several areas of the Kingdom, including the Badia region.

Hail showers are in the forecast in Amman, while snowfall is predicted in Tafilah governorate and the Sharah mountains in Karak.

Stable weather conditions will be back to the Kingdom tomorrow night. However, the Kingdom will be witnessing heavy fog.
