Members of the Public Security Directorate (PSD) arrested on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, a woman charged with stabbing her husband to death while they were in their home in eastern Amman, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) spokesman said.

The spokesman added that the PSD received a report indicating that a man has been found dead in front of his home in Jabal Al Nuzha area of Amman.

After police officers rushed to the crime scene and examined the body, it was found that the victim was stabbed to death with a sharp instrument.

Following the investigation and the gathering of information, the victim's wife was accused of committing the crime.

When the suspect was arrested, she confessed to killing her husband after he had physically attacked her following a dispute that arose between them.

The case was referred to the public prosecutor who decided to place the murderer in custody for 15 days at a correctional and rehabilitation center on charge of murder.
