The Ministry of Health announced this morning that the number of people who died of H1N1 "Swine Flu" in Jordan has risen to nine.

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Adnan Ishaq said that the number of infected people has risen to 292.

Ishaq explained that two elderly people died this morning of the flu.

Earlier in the day, director of the Al-Bashir Hospital, Dr. Mahmoud Zureikat, said that 47 people infected with Swine Flu went to the hospital, where six of them left the hospital and the rest are receiving treatment.
