Israeli settlers slashed this morning tires of Palestinian–owned vehicles and spray-painted racist slogans in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Shufat, according to witnesses.

They said that settlers sneaked into the neighborhood during the night and slashed the tires of 40 Palestinian cars and spray-painted anti-Arab and racist slogans on several walls in the area.

The vandalism is believed attributed to the Jewish terror group Price Tag.

Israeli settlers' violence against Palestinians and their property is commonplace in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities. It includes arson of property and mosques, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Over 600,000 Israelis live in Jewish-only settlements across occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law.
