The 2018 Audit Bureau report revealed that hundreds of domestic workers with communicable diseases such as tuberculosis, AIDS and hepatitis B have entered Jordan.

The report indicated that almost 1222 domestic workers entered Jordan carrying one of these serious diseases.

It showed that taking action and responding to the complaints filed by people against domestic workers recruitment agencies of the Ministry of Labour takes so much time.

According to the report, most of the complaints are solved without registering official violations against those agencies.

The report also showed that some recruitment agencies postpone recruitment transactions, although they receive fees from citizens.
