Social media users express their delight at Environment Ministry's decision to ban plastic bags

A large number of social media users expressed their satisfaction with The Ministry of Environment's recent decision to officially ban non-biodegradable plastic bags in Jordan.

Dozens of people took to Twitter and Facebook, retweeting and sharing the news, that most of them described as "great".

People had many things to say regarding this decision on Roya News English Facebook page, here are some comments made by them:

Elissa Goudge commented, "This is great news! Now if we all stopped to pick up the plastic bags & bottles we see lying around on the road while we are walking, this country would be cleaned up in no time."
