An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates confirmed that there is no change in the instructions and laws followed for the entry of Jews to Jordan.

Jordan's decision to ban or allow anyone to enter the Jordanian territory is a sovereign right practiced by the competent authorities, the source affirmed.

It said that the instructions followed are still in force as it was before and has not changed.

The same source added that there were no talks between Amman and Tel Aviv on changing the instructions regarding the visit of settlers to Jordan.

Earlier, Hebrew media claimed that Jordan had prevented a group of settlers from entering the Kingdom for wearing clothing with Jewish signs.

The settlers were on their way to Jordan on Tuesday, December 3, but were prevented from entering Jordan because some of them were wearing "tzitzit", a piece of clothing worn by Jewish rabbis.
