The Media Department of the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) has released a report, indicating the final results of the investigation conducted by the technical committee formed to identify the causes of the house fire that took place in Southern Shouna yesterday.

The report indicated that the fire broke out due to excessive electrical loads on the entire electrical network of the house, which resulted in electrical contacts.

The technical committee reported that the electrical contact started in the kitchen of the house, causing the fire to start in the ceiling, which consists of wood, cardboard and plastic tarpaulins.

After that, the ceiling collapsed on the residents of the house and caused the fire to spread to the other rooms.

The Technical Committee noted that the victims suffered from suffocation and severe burns, which caused their immediate death.
