A school classroom has been emptied of students after parts of its roof collapsed this morning.

One student suffered from various injuries and bruises and was taken to a nearby hospital, where his health condition was described as good.

According to Roya's correspondent, the incident took place in A'la'al Secondary School for boys in Irbid governorate.

For his part, the School headmaster pointed out that the incident occurred out of a sudden, as the roof had no cracks.

A total of 600 pupils attend the school, the headmaster said, adding that the building is 30-year-old.
