A person has died and another has suffered from injuries after their car collided with a light pole in Al Seteen (Sixty) street in Al-Balqa governorate, according to a statement issued by the Central Traffic Department (CTD).

The statement added that ambulance cadres provided the necessary first aid to the injured, and referred him, along with the deceased to a nearby hospital. The injured's health condition was described as critical.

The competent authorities have formed a traffic investigation committee to find out how the accident occurred.
