The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation signed on Sunday, November 24, 2019, a grant agreement, worth €20 million (JD15,629,906.63), offered by the German government through the German Development Bank to finance the first phase of the program of promotion of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
The project aims to provide high-quality TVET programs, relevant to the labor market and that would focus on education and training through practical application in close cooperation with the private sector, in a bid to increase the employability of TVET graduates.
During the signing ceremony, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Wissam Rabadi said that a technical training college will be built in Al Hussein Technical University to provide all the necessary equipment to prepare the students for the labor market.
