Jordan has advanced six points on the 2019 Global Knowledge Index when compared to the report issued in 2018.
This year, Jordan ranked 70th globally, and ninth among Arab countries.
Among the most prominent sectoral indicators is pre-university education in which Jordan ranked 104, while it ranked 93 in technical education and vocational training, and 41 in higher education.
The Kingdom ranked 74 in research and development and innovation, 69 in information and communications technology, 44 in the economy, and 88 in enabling environments.
This year, the report covered the results of 136 countries and showed that 75 million jobs worldwide will disappear in the future to be replaced by 133 million new jobs in futuristic jobs.
