Jordan's tourism revenues reach JD 3.5 billion in ten months

Due to the increase in the total number of tourists by 14.9%, the Kingdom's revenues from tourism income rose by 13.4%, reaching to $ 458.4 (JD 325 billion) during October 2019, compared to the same period last year, according to preliminary data released by the Central Bank of Jordan.

During the first 10 months of this year, tourism income increased by 9.4%, hitting $ 4.9 billion, equivalent to JD 3.5 billion.

This increase was mainly due to the rise in the total number of tourists by 7.7%, compared to the same period in 2018.
